This work was part of a larger environmental studies program for offshore oil and gas exploration for the Arctic Petroleum Operators Association conducted between July 1976 and August 1978 in Davis Strait, Hudson Strait, Flemish Pass, coastal Labrador and Northeast Newfoundland. The OBIS view of this dataset contains zooplankton abundance information. more
This work was part of a larger environmental studies program for offshore oil and gas exploration for the Arctic Petroleum Operators Association conducted between July 1976 and August 1978 in Davis Strait, Hudson Strait, Flemish Pass, coastal Labrador and Northeast Newfoundland. The OBIS view of this dataset contains zooplankton abundance information. Samples were collected with nets of varying mesh size and analysed for identifications and enumerations. Displacement volumes were also done. This dataset is the OBIS version of records archived in the BioChem database with the following series identifiers: ‘MacLaren Atlantic' and 'MacLaren’. These data are for display on the OBIS portal and associated mapping programs and for download for end-user analysis.
