WSCHELDT - Suspended matter and chemical and physical conditions in Western Scheldt estuary, Belgium (1973-83) [WSCHELDT - Zwevende stof en chemische en fysische toestand in het Westerschelde estuarium, België]
Contact: Beheerseenheid Mathematisch Model Noordzee en Schelde-estuarium (IRScNB/KBIN-BMM), more

Availability: Restricted
The data are withheld from general circulation and disclosure but access may be obtained on a case-by-case basis through negotiation

Notes: Restrictions available at contact person

Description
The data were collected a.o. in order to understand the processes of organic matter degradation in relation with the redox conditions and to be able to simulate these processes under a series of circumstances. more

In the project funded by MUMM, the existing data were used to evaluate the contributions of the different sources of suspended matter to the siltation in the estuary, taking the river flow regime into account. The nutrient data are also normally part of MUMM's 'MONITB' database but have not yet been transferred to the database.
