Abstract
This paper presents a variational method for enforcing the local mass conservation in an unstructured mesh ocean model after a re-meshing. This simple velocity interpolation method turns out to be a saddle point problem which leads to a mixed problem with an BBL-like condition. Before discussing preliminary results, we expose some numerical features of our ocean model.
