Abstract
This book (hardbound, 215x295 mm) consisting of approximately 1200 pages, contains all details of sediment transport (sand, silt and mud) in rivers, estuaries and coastal seas. A diskette (TRANSPOR-program) is available for computation of: wave length, near-bed peak orbital velocities, bed-shear stress, initiation of motion parameters, fall velocity of sediment, velocity and sand concentration, bed-load and suspended load transport, bed-form height and length.
