Description
Dataset for the paper "Indications of dynamic effects on scaling relationships between channel sinuosity and vegetation patch size across a salt marsh platform". This dataset includes: 1) the image-based classification of the Saeftinghe salt marsh (Scheldt) based on satellite SPOT images from 1999 and 2012; 2) in situ field radiometric measurements; 3) the Excel files containing the data on vegetation patch sizes, channel network sinuosity, marsh slope and marsh elevation. Scope Themes: Coastal studies (e.g. shores, estuaries) Keywords: Brackish water, Channel sinuosity, Power laws, Remote sensing, Salt marsh, Belgium: Scheldt estuary, Saeftinghe Geographical coverage Belgium: Scheldt estuary, Saeftinghe [Marine Regions] Temporal coverage
