Description
Suspended sediment concentration (monthly average) in mg/l in surface water coming from four measuring stations in the 'Outer Ems' estuary. Data collected by Rijkswaterstaat within the MWTL monitoring program (Monitoring Waterstaatkundige Toestand des Lands) between 1990 and 2017. more

Samples collected 1 m below the water surface with a pump system from a ship, then filtered in laboratory. The MWTL data start around low tide at station Huibertgat (station 1). During the summer months surveys are usually every two weeks; during the winter months once per month.
