Dr. Christina de Wit is Scientific Officer at the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Her main duties consist of planning, implementing and supervising strategies and research programmes in the field of Bio-Economy, with a focus on biotechnology. She obtained her PhD in Technology Assessment after studying Biochemistry at the University of Hamburg. After working for the Study Commission of the German Federal Parliament "Law and Ethics in Modern Medicine" and the German Ethics Council she joined the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research in 2008. | |
