Two zones are recognized : one, the Caryorhynchus tumidus Zone, in the upper part of the Frasnian in the Belgian and French « Fagne », the western «Famenne» and near Aachen; the other, the Caryorhynchus Zone, in the middle and upper part of the Frasnian of the northern hemisphere. |
