Abstract
    During an expedition of Jan Mayen in Aug 1972, 10 ascidian spp were recorded between 0-110 m depth, including 3 spp new to the area: Cnemidocarpa rhizopus (Redikorzev, 1907), Cnemidocarpa mollispina (Arnback 1922) and Molgula romeri (Hartmeyer, 1903). A total of 12 ascidian spp have now been recorded from Jan Mayen.
