Marine environmental data: principles of good data management and access to open data resources

The EGU General Assembly 2019, taking place in Vienna (Austria) on 7–12 April 2019, will bring together geoscientists from all over the world to one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary, and space sciences.

During this event, LifeWatch-ERIC is joining the ENVRIplus/ENVRI FAIR common booth.

The European Space Agency’s 2019 Living Planet Symposium, an event which is held every three years, will take place on 13–17 May 2019 in Milan, Italy. The Symposium is organised with the support of the Italian Space Agency.

This symposium focuses on how Earth Observation contributes to science and society, and how disruptive technologies and actors are changing the traditional Earth Observation landscape, which is also creating new opportunities for public and private sector interactions.

In the framework of the MEMO project (Monitoring of Exotic Mosquitoes in Belgium - click here for more details), BopCo, one of the LifeWatch Belgium partners, organised a workshop at the Royal Museum for Central Africa in Tervuren.

The kick-off meeting of the H2020 project ENVRI-FAIR took place in Prague, from 14 to 16 January 2019. The meeting officially marked the beginning of the project activities starting from its management strategy and tools, its implementation process and risk management.
