Description
This dataset presents the occurrence of 70 species of fish on a standardized grid of 10x10 km cells for the Gulf of St. Lawrence. It is intended to explore habitat associations and species assemblages across both the northern and southern regions of the Gulf. The data are calculated from annual groundfish trawl surveys conducted by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) from Quebec Region and Gulf Region from 2004-2010. Details are presented in Dutil et al. 2013.
