Abstract
The heterogeneity of the turbellarian family Polycystididae is demonstrated by describing three new aberrant species of this family from the Pacific coast of USA. The new subfamily Duplacrorhynchinae is based on the new genera, Duplacrorhynchus with two species and Yaquinaia with one species. A further splitting up of the family appears to be inevitable in the future.
