The available data through GBIF.ES represents 5-10% of the Oceanographic Center of Malaga fauna collection, Spanish Institute of Oceanography. It is made up of fish captured between 100 and 2000 m depth in Mauritania, and comprises 246 Teleostei specimens, i.e. 137 species from 65 families, some Elasmobranchii, i.e. 20 species from 6 families, and one Myxine ios specimen.
