Description

Data were collected to identify the main descriptors of changes from hypertrophic to mesotrophic conditions in a tropical hypersaline lagoon between 2019-2022.

more

Data from nine campaigns were analyzed covering all seasons during dystrophic events in Araruama Lagoon (Brazil) between 2019 and 2022. Samples collected at eleven points (10 inside the lagoon, 1 outside - control point at Praia do Forte) from water column at different depths (Van Dorn bottle; dissolved and particulate fractions) and sediment (Van Veen grab; grains and porewater). In situ and laboratory analyses were made to quantify several parameters.
