Abstract:
Het team Aquatisch beheer doet onderzoek naar verschillende facetten van het beheer van stilstaand en stromend water. De focus ligt hierbij op habitatherstel en herstel van de longitudinale en laterale connectiviteit in beken en rivieren in functie van behoud en herstel van waterfauna en -flora. Typische onderzoeksaspecten betreffen o.a. de aanleg van natuurvriendelijke oevers, rivierherstel en de aanleg van visdoorgangen.
