Abstract
    Brianola vangoethemi sp.nov., Scottolana glabra sp.nov., Scottolana dissimilis sp.nov., Canuella paenelantica sp.nov. and Parasunaristes cucullaris gen.nov., from the Northern coast of Papua New Guinea, are described. Brianola sydneyensis Hamond, 1973 and Ellucana longicaudaSewell, 1940 were recorded for the first time in the coastal waters of Papua New Guinea. E. longicauda is redescribed and the generic characteristics are discussed.
