Description

Sustainable management of local fish stocks requires insight into the migration of harvested fish. For a chain of connected lakes known as the Randmeren common bream (Abramis brama) is one of the target species for commercial fisheries, therefore its essential to know whether bream migrates between the Randmeren and surrounding waters. 60 breams will be followed using acoustic telemetry for three years. The breams are equipped with a VEMCO-V13 transmitter.
