Description

This dataset comprises zooplankton samples collected using sediment traps deployed at a depth of 87 meters at the “Mooring Dirigibile Italia” (MDI) site (78°54.815 N, 12°14.899 E) in the inner part of Kongsfjorden (Svalbard), near tidewater glacier fronts. As part of the KAIROS project, the dataset spans eight years (2014–2022) and has been curated to adhere to FAIR principles. The current dataset holds a validated dataset originating from the ZooScan (HYDROPTIC). All data is validated and predicted by CNN-models.
