Description

The pre-trained ZooScan Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model provides a ready-to-use deep learning solution for automated zooplankton image classification. Built upon the FlowCam phytoplankton classifier developed by VLIZ within the iMagine project, this ZooScan pre-trained models efficiently recognize and categorize planktonic organisms from ZooScan images. The samples were collected by "Mooring Dirigibile Italia" sediment traps (2010-2023) in Svalbard Islands (ZooScan).
