Abstract Fifteen species of galatheid crustaceans belonging to the genus Munida Leach, 1820 are reported from the Philippines and Indonesia. Six of these species are described as new: M. analoga, M. gilii, M. minuta, M. parvula, M. pusiola and M. sacksi.
