Abstract
Within the frame of the Joint Industry Project JoRes, multiple full scale measurements were carried out to quantify the resistance and propulsion behaviour of seven selected vessels. One of these vessels was a 252 m long cruise ship, known as the JoRes3 Cruise Liner, for which speed/power trials and zigzag tests were performed in two water depths, but also in (not purposely) different weather conditions. In the frame of the MASHCON conference, the results of the speed/power trials are opened, together with a comprehensive post-processing assessment.
